I found their assessment to be both speedy and fair. I’ll surely turn to them again when it’s time to get a new ride.

This company is really disappointing and quite misleading, so don’t trust a single thing they say. On the night my vehicle was picked up (the driver was super professional, by the way), they made a 63-year-old man wait in a cold trailer for over an hour while Jesse was trying to get in touch with Vancouver. After that long wait, they suddenly wanted to take $300 off the offer for deep cleaning. Their website clearly says you don’t have to clean your vehicle; they’ll handle the detailing when they receive it. That’s just false advertising. They promised I’d get paid the next day, but here I am at 4:30, still waiting. No money has come through yet. Just a lot of talk and no follow-through.

The website doesn't show actual pictures of the vehicles. It was only after we forked over the cash for the car and the insurance that we received a letter saying they 'accidentally' found two big dents on the vehicle. This was just the night before it was supposed to be delivered. During a call, the manager claimed they saw nothing wrong and tried to push the sale on us, even though we were not interested in a damaged car. I suspect they either banged it up while loading or were hiding the dents on purpose. They didn’t provide any solutions, and my overall experience with them was pretty disappointing (except for the delivery guy - he was awesome). Bottom line, steer clear of these crooks; it’s not worth your time or money.

A representative called to set up my drop-off, I arrived, reviewed the documents, and was on my way. I got my payment the same day, and since the car was financed, my lender showed the loan balance as fully paid within about a week.

Canada Drives really took the stress out of getting a vehicle inspection, cleaning up the car, and dealing with the paperwork for a private sale—and they gave me several thousand dollars more than what traditional dealerships would! I highly recommend them.

What's going on here? In my three decades of purchasing vehicles, I've never encountered a website that lists used cars at prices higher than what you'd pay for a brand new one at a dealership. Quite the business strategy if it’s working, honestly. That said, I’ll just pocket the 3 grand on a $20k car by opting for new, thanks a lot.

Update: It feels like you folks don’t even bother to read the messages you’re responding to. Of course, you couldn’t locate my application in your system. Did you miss the part where I mentioned I’d save 3 grand by going new instead of buying your used car? This really highlights why you haven’t grasped that new cars can be cheaper than your pre-owned options.
